These donuts were at the Boston Donut Fest at the Underground at Ink Block last Sunday. It was over 90 degrees outside but we were in the shade under the big concrete highway system above us.
According to the organizers, they sold over 2500 tickets to get into the donut fest; where every donut company that set up shop under a tent, SOLD OUT!
I did sell the white frosted donut! Which was really great because it covered the cost of being there. However, I believe the price point of one of these festivals is $25.00. (I was dimly aware of this with my past experiences at the coffee and tea festival)
So next year I will have some originals and lots of prints of the 5 best donut paintings I do in the coming year!
